Tonopah is agitating the matter of camping grounds for the tourists that are expected to visit in the coming season. Leading citizens have taken the question up and it is assured. Carson has been wrangling over the matter of camping grounds for three years now and as yet no practical site has been secured.

Robbing a Dentist. Dr. Mastay, dentist, started for Silver Mountain, on Friday, taking a large package of instruments with him — he being on horseback. He stopped at a house this side of Genoa, leaving his instruments on his saddle. When he came out of the house his instruments were gone and he has found no trace of them since. Some toothless wretch stole ‘em.

The Secretary of War has ordered the commanding officers at all military posts to fire a national salute of 88 guns on April 30, the centennial of the inauguration of Washington.

A lot of guns, belts and ammunition, belonging to the state, was sent from the State Armory in this city to Elko day before yesterday for use of the boys of that place, numbering nearly 100, who have returned from army service. The returning boys have organized into a military company and will use the guns sent them for drill and target shooting.

Nevada should locate its military style boot camp for young first-time criminals in a prison setting, not next to conservation camps, the chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, Sen. William Raggio, R-Reno, told prison officials today.
