Vernell Cocanour of Carson City, NV passed peacefully into the next life at her home on February 18th, 2019.
Raised in Fallon, NV, she lived and worked in Nevada her entire life.
She is survived by her loving husband Melvin L. Jones, her brother, Gary, and sister Lynn, and her many children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service for family on February 23rd, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
The service will be followed by a memorial reception at Empire Ranch Golfcourse, 1875 Fair Way in Carson City at 2:30 pm. All family and friends are invited.
In lieu of flowers, it was Vernell’s wish that donations be made to City of Refuge, 952 Qadosh Rd., Gardnerville, NV 89410, (775) 782-2034.
