Glenn Miller Orchestra sets Carson City performance

The Glenn Miller Orchestra is coming to Carson City.

The 18-piece band will perform one show March 13 at 7 p.m. in the Casino Fandango’s Grand Ballroom. The concert is the second hosted by the Brewery Arts Center inside the new ballroom.

The band known for such big band hits as “Moonlight Serenade” and “In the Mood” consists of five saxophone players, four trumpeters, four trombonists, three rhythm musicians, and a male and female vocalist.

Tickets for $60 and $35 are available at the BAC’s Expresso Yourself Cafe and online at either breweryarts.org or casinofandango.com

Dinner and show package tickets for two of Casino Fandango’s restaurants are also available for $80 for Ti’Amo and $100 for Duke’s Steakhouse.
