In its first large meet of the year — and on the heels of one of the biggest in the region — the Greenwave track and field team took first in both the boys and girls division of the Yerington Relays on Saturday.

The Greenwave won the boys division over Yerington, 129.5.-107, in a 14-team field while the Lady Wave won, 154.5-128.5, over Fernley in a 12-team field.
