Mary Chada Jan 24, 1927 - October 5, 2019
Mary Chada, 92, died on the evening of October 5, 2019 at her home in Dayton. She was born on January 24, 1927, in Superior, Wyoming, one of 4 children. She was the last surviving member of her family and always called grandma because she loved being a homemaker.
She is survived by her son Richard, grandchildren Angeli Orme and David Haines, and a great grand daughter Aurora Haines.
Mary and her husband Julian were married 66 years. He preceded her in death in 2015 and Mary also had a daughter Julee who passed in 2007.
Mary lived around the country during her life, including Wyoming, Idaho, California and Nevada and worked in hotel and restaurant management as well as being a homemaker.
They owned the Tropicana Motel in Lake Tahoe during the 1960's and 1970's and retired in Dayton to be near their children and grand children. Mary was very active with the senior community in Dayton, and recently spending up to three days there weekly enjoying her many friends and their exercise classes.
She will be interred at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Fernley with her husband of 66 yrs., Julian Leo Chada.
