Woman held for burglary, parents held for harboring fugitive, Carson City Sheriff’s Office says

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

THURSDAY

At 2:12 p.m., a 68-year-old Reno man was charged with DUI 1st alcohol after the arrest report says he ran a stop sign at Centennial and Highway 50, nearly hitting a sheriff’s sergeant’s vehicle. He was also charged with the traffic violation. Bail was set at $1,050.

At 5:26 p.m., Adrianna Vanegas, 24, was arrested on an outstanding warrant charging burglary and a contempt warrant issued by justice court. She was arrested at the residence of her parents on Mayflower Way and, after a search, charged with possession of meth and paraphernalia deputies found in her room. In addition, her mother Christine, 47, and father Felipe, 53, were charged with harboring a fugitive, a felony. The arrest report states that deputies had visited the residence several times and advised both parents there was a felony warrant for Adrianna. He was also charged with possession of a prescription drug without a prescription. Christine was also charged with possession of meth and paraphernalia. Adrianna’s bail was set at $33,500. Christine’s bail was set at $13,800. Felipe’s bail was set at $12,500.

At 10:23 p.m., Brent Martin, 24, and Sarah Evans, 25, were arrested on north Carson Street after a traffic stop for a fictitious license plate. A drug dog alerted to the presence of controlled substances and a search of the vehicle revealed meth, marijuana and paraphernalia. He was charged with possession of meth and paraphernalia, a fictitious registration, a revoked license and DUI 2nd drugs. Bail was set at $6,550. She was charged with possession and possession of paraphernalia and a probation violation for being with Martin. Bail was set at $6,500.
