Motorists will see overnight lane closures on U.S. 395 through Gardnerville next week.

The Nevada Department of Transportation is repaving sections of the road through town, which will force single lane closures between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Monday, Sept. 9 through Thursday, Sept. 12.

Freight and other heavy vehicles will be diverted to Buckeye Road and Toler Avenue.

The roadwork will occur between Waterloo Lane and First Street but an NDOT spokesman said at least one lane will remain open in each direction, reducing delays to a minimum.
