The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect in an elder exploitation case. The suspect used an elderly female’s debit card to make several purchases and take cash out of the victim’s bank accounts.

On July 4, an elderly Carson City resident with dementia was visited by an unknown female offering to help her get groceries from the store. The elderly victim provided the female with a shopping list and her debit card. The female never returned.

The accompanying pictures are of the suspect withdrawing money from a US Bank ATM inside the South Save Mart in Carson City.

Anyone who may recognize this suspect is asked to contact Deputy Jessica Dickey at 775-283-7857 or Capt. Humphrey at 775-283-7850.
