More than 4,800 books were shared with students at E.C. Best Elementary School, Lahontan Elementary School and Northside Early Learning Center last week before the two-week winter break began. The United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra said on their Facebook page the team is overwhelmed by all the joy and smiles from students receiving a special surprise of a book bag to take home.
