The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent unless convicted in court.
MONDAY
• At 2:50 p.m., Tobias Garringer, 26, was arrested on a warrant issued by Henderson Justice Court charging felony burglary of a business. Bail was set at $10,000.
• At 11:41 p.m., a 39-year-old California man was charged with domestic battery 1st offense after deputies were dispatched to Casino Fandango. The victim told deputies her boyfriend had hit her on the arm where she just received her virus shot and knocked her down. The assault was confirmed by the casino’s video footage. Bail was set at $3,000.
TUESDAY
• At 7:41 a.m., Danny Wade, of Stockton, California, was arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop on South Carson Street. He told deputies the meth found in the vehicle was his sister’s and that he had just bought the vehicle from her. He was charged with possession of meth and paraphernalia. Bail was set at $3,500.
• At 6:30 p.m., three people were arrested at the Motel 6 on drug possession charges. All three denied knowing about the drugs that the arrest report says were on the bed in the motel room. The report says the drugs appeared to be meth but the report indicates all three suspects were charged with a single misdemeanor. Bail for each was set at $2,500.
WEDNESDAY
• At 7:50 p.m., Derek Fleming, 53, was arrested at a residence on Long Street on an outstanding warrant charging violation of suspended sentence conditions. A small amount of meth was found in the apartment along with paraphernalia. He was charged with possession of both as well as the warrant. Bail was set at $6,500.
THURSDAY
At 3:50 a.m., a Gardnerville man was charged with DUI 1st alcohol after a traffic stop on Stewart Street for swerving between lanes. He told the arresting officer he only had two beers. Bail was set at $1,000.
• At 9:46 a.m., Steven Chan, 44, was arrested at the Courtyard Marriot on Carson Street after deputies were called for an unwanted subject. Deputies had to force their way into the room, which was listed as vacant. While doing so, they heard the toilet flush several times and found a soda can in the bathroom with meth residue on it. They also found a scale and other paraphernalia in the room. He was charged with possession of meth and paraphernalia, defrauding an innkeeper, obstructing and possession of a credit card without permission of the owner. Bail was set at $8,000.
• At 3:50 p.m., Jaime and Christina Leon, both 35, were arrested on three counts of child neglect charges after a traffic stop on College Parkway. The arrest report says there were moldy food items in the vehicle along with dirty diapers, baby bottles with spoiled milk and other trash. There were children aged 2 and 7 along with a teenager in the vehicle as well. A small amount of meth was found in a cell phone case. They were charged with possession of meth and paraphernalia. Bail for each was set at $43,500.
• At 1:55 p.m., a 36-year-old Dayton man was arrested on an FTA warrant after a traffic stop for speeding in a school zone. His bail was set at $500.
