No license plate just the start of his problems, Carson City Sheriff says

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent unless convicted in court.
FRIDAY
• At 4:05 p.m., Christopher Connell, 51, was arrested on a charge of violating an extended protection order after video and a tracking GPS on his postal service vehicle confirmed the violation. He was held on $10,000 bail.
• At 4:46 p.m., a 37-year-old Dayton man was arrested after a traffic stop for no license plate. He was charged with driving on a revoked license, no valid registration and violation of suspended sentence conditions. Bail was set at $1,540.
• At 9:21 p.m., Michael Allston, 43, was jailed on drug charges after a traffic stop for running a stop sign at Gordon and North Edmonds. He was also charged with driving on a suspended license and no proof of insurance. A search of the vehicle found both meth and needles and dispatch reported a warrant out of Washoe County. Bail was set at $9,200.
SATURDAY
• At 12:38 a.m., Duane DeCastro, 62, was arrested on a felony warrant at a residence on Brown Street. He was also charged with obstructing for refusing to surrender for 30 minutes. He was held without bail.
• At 4:08 a.m., a 25-year-old man was charged with DUI 1st alcohol after a traffic stop on Carson Street for driving without headlights on. Bail was set at $1,000.
• At 9:57 a.m., a 43-year-old man was arrested at Carson Tahoe Hospital. He was charged with civil protective custody and resisting an officer. Bail was set at $300.
• At 11:02 a.m., Trevor Bryant, 35, was arrested on multiple charges after a traffic stop near the Gold Dust West for no license plates. He was also charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and as an ex-felon failing to register. A search of the vehicle found a small amount of meth and a glass pipe. Bryant was charged with possession of meth and paraphernalia as an ex-felon failing to register as well as the traffic charges. Bail was set at $4,775.
• At 11:18 a.m., Theodore Sanchez, 46, was arrested after a traffic stop on Highway 50 at Lompa for an expired registration. He was also charged as an ex-felon failing to register. A search of the vehicle found both more than four grams of meth and paraphernalia. Bail was set at $3,675.
• At 4:58 p.m., a 35-year-old woman was arrested on a probation violation charge after a deputy found a can of beer in her backpack. She was reportedly on alternative sentencing with a no-alcohol condition. Bail was set at $3,000.
• At 7:57 p.m., a 76-year-old was charged with violating suspended sentence conditions after deputies were called to an apartment complex on Carson Street for a mental subject. Bail was set at $1,000.
SUNDAY
• At 11:34 a.m., Ashley Arzner, 35, and Casey Wnorowski, 37, were arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop for an expired registration on South Carson Street. Dispatch reported that neither had a valid driver’s license either. A search found meth in the center console. Both were charged with possession of meth and paraphernalia. She was also charged with possession of prescription drugs without a prescription. His bail was $3,500. Her bail was $6,000.
• At 2:14 p.m., Ian Shatswell, 32, was charged with domestic battery 1st after deputies responded to a residence on Travis Drive. The arrest report says he was extremely intoxicated when he and the female victim got into an argument and that he grabbed her arms and threw her to the floor. A neighbor reported seeing him kick the woman’s vehicle door, denting it. He was also charged with destruction of property and a P&P violation. He was held without bail.
MONDAY
• At 12:21 p.m., David Sparkman, 27, was arrested at an apartment on College Parkway after an alternative sentencing officer requested help with a welfare check. His vehicle was searched because of the conditions of his alternative sentencing and the fact he admitted to using heroin and said there was meth in his vehicle. He was charged with possession of meth and violating pre-trial conditions. Bail was set at $5,500.
• At 6:18 p.m., Travis Gent, 30, was arrested on multiple felony counts at the entrance to Mills Park. The vehicle was searched after he admitted to using heroin earlier in the day. He was charged with possession of heroin and paraphernalia, four counts of possession of prescription pills without a prescription and two counts of possessing credit cards without the owner’s permission. Bail was set at $23,500.
• At 6:52 p.m., a 35-year-old was arrested on two outstanding warrants charging probation violations after a deputy recognized him walking across Fall Street outside the Nugget. Bail was set at $6,000.
