20 new COVID-19 cases in Quad County area Friday

 Carson City Health and Human Services reported 20 new cases and 23 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region on Friday.
This brings the total number of cases to 12,488, with 11,855 recoveries and 225 deaths; 408 cases remain active.

Walk-In COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics
 
There are COVID-19 vaccine appointments available for next week. COVID-19 vaccination events are no longer by appointment only. Quad-County vaccination events will have appointments available for those who want to confirm their dose as well as several doses available for walk-ins.
Upcoming COVID-19 vaccination event:
  • Tuesday, May 4, 2021 | 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
    • Storey County Emergency Management Satellite Office (20 E St, Virginia City)
    • 15 1st doses of Moderna available for walk-ins
    • Ages 18 and older
 
Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing for Quad-County Residents
