Man throws drugs, adds to his list of charges, Carson City Sheriff says

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent unless convicted in court.
SATURDAY, JULY 24
• At 12:12 p.m., Amanda Barham, 33, was charged with drug possession after a traffic stop on Fairview Drive for speeding. She was not the driver of the vehicle. After the stop, a drug dog alerted to the presence of drugs. A search found a small amount of meth in her wallet and a pipe on the driver’s seat. She was charged with drug possession. The 33-year-old male was charged with possession of paraphernalia. Her bail was set at $2,500. His was set at $1,045 including the speeding citation.
TUESDAY
• At 10:40 a.m., Jose Garcia-Perez, 28, was booked on seven counts of sexual assault and one of kidnapping with a deadly weapon. He was extradited from El Dorado County. No further details were included in the arrest report. Bail was set at $125,000.
• At 11:30 a.m., James Connelly, 21, was arrested on multiple charges after a deputy approached him at the Comstock Casino because he appeared to be under age 21. He was charged with obstruction for trying to evade the deputy and with providing a false name to avoid prosecution. A search of his person found a small amount of meth as well as heroin and paraphernalia. In addition, he had an outstanding warrant issued by Carson Justice Court. Bail was set at $15,412.
WEDNESDAY
• At 2:10 p.m., Phillip Eubanks, 40, was arrested on drug charges after a stop on Carson Street because he had an outstanding P&P warrant. After he advised he was visiting a friend at the Nugget Inn, the room was searched and the arrest report says deputies found a backpack they say belongs to Eubanks containing meth and scales. He was charged with the P&P violation, possession of meth and paraphernalia. He was held without bail.
THURSDAY
• At 10:26 a.m., a 35-year-old Dayton man was arrested outside Save Mart. Dispatch advised he was on alternate sentencing and subject to search for drugs and alcohol. He ignored orders to keep hands visible and pulled out a small glass object which he destroyed by throwing it on the ground. The glass object had drug residue on the pieces, according to the arrest report. The search also found a small knife on a necklace around his neck. He was charged with possession of paraphernalia, destruction of evidence, obstruction, violating bail conditions and possession of a concealed weapon.
• At 11:50 p.m., a 61-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant after a deputy found her sleeping under the loading dock at FISH. Bail was set at $500.
FRIDAY
• At 1:58 a.m., a 41-year-old man was arrested after a traffic stop for an expired registration. He was also charged with driving on a revoked license and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle for not pulling over immediately. In addition, he was held on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. Bail was set at $3,650.
