Nevada state Treasurer Zach Conine will speak this month to the CEDA Business Council Breakfast on Aug. 11 at 6:45 a.m. at the Fallon Golf Course.

Conine was elected state treasurer in 2018. After graduating from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, Conine moved to Nevada and launched his career with the Golden Nugget, ultimately becoming director of operations, where he was responsible for more than 2,000 employees.Conine then joined a major gaming company as chief business development officer, where he served as a member of the executive team which oversaw a $200 million development.
Conine co-founded Joseph Beare & Co., a consultancy focused on helping new businesses succeed.
He also earned his law degree from UNLV’s William S. Boyd School of Law while working full time.
