Visit Carson City Executive Director David Peterson will be the featured speaker at the Rotary Club of Carson City meeting Tuesday, Aug. 10 at 12:30 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom at the Brewery Arts Center. The public is invited. Peterson will talk about how the organization adapted its marketing campaigns throughout the COVID pandemic. “We shifted our Visit Carson City campaign to a Visit Carson City, Later campaign, which then transformed into a Visit Carson City, Safely campaign” Peterson said in a news release. “We resumed our full marketing efforts just over a month ago.” Peterson will also talk about the return of the Carson City Arts and Culture Coalition to the Visit Carson City organization. “I couldn’t be more excited about the opportunities in front of us as a community, first and foremost, but also for future visitors.
