Road report as of Thursday. The following applies to Aug. 2-8:
Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
Kings Canyon Road west of Longview Way will be closed, Monday-Friday, all day for roadway reconstruction. Only local residential access will be provided. The Waterfall Trailhead and parking area is also closed until further notice. Please use one of the many other wonderful open space areas in Carson City such as the Carson River area or Prison Hill.
E. Roland Street between California Street and Oak Street will be closed, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for an excavation project. Please plan accordingly.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
Fairview Drive between E. 5th Street and Butti Way will have shoulder work, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for utility construction. The multi-use path will be closed. Please use caution and follow all roadwork zone signage.
Northridge Drive between Eastridge Drive and Carriage Crest Drive will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a roadway reconstruction project. There will be intermittent closures at the intersections of Northridge Drive and Carriage Crest Drive, Spooner Drive, and Eastridge Drive. Please use caution and follow marked detour routes.
Silver Sage Drive between Eagle Station Lane and Reventini Lane will have reduced lanes on Monday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a construction project. Please use caution and follow all roadwork zone signage.
