CCHHS is also reporting 168 new cases and 196 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. This brings the total number of cases to 11,777, with 10,483 recoveries and 217 deaths; 1,077 cases remain active.

Due to a backlog in the state electronic laboratory reporting system caused by some labs not reporting electronically, Carson City Health and Human Services has received 146 positive COVID-19 laboratory results dating back to October 2020. These are included in our case count and recovery count but will not affect our current transmission rate. We value accuracy and transparency and will continue to work to provide that to our community. If you have any questions, please call our COVID-19 Hotline at 775-434-1988.
