Senators clobber 16 hits against McQueen
Six of the nine hitters in Carson's lineup Thursday put together multi-hit outings.
Corine Doran found success against the Lancer pitching again, knocking in four RBIs on a perfect 3-for-3 day at the dish.
Two of those three hits were doubles, including a two-run double to center in the first inning after McQueen took an early 1-0 lead.
Shannen von Duering, who was 3-for-4 with three runs, drove in the next Senator run helping to spark a five-run second inning.
Doran drove in Caydee Farnworth, who reached on a double, and Amaya Mendeguia followed with a single to center to give Carson a 7-1 edge by the end of the frame.
The Senators only needed five innings out of Farnworth in the circle. She struck out four, allowed three hits and two earned runs.
Kedre Luschar, Taylor Murphy and Kennedy Redican all had two base knocks as well for Carson in the win.

Damonte Ranch held on to home field with a 7-5 win over the Senators.
Carson battled with the Mustangs after giving up three runs in the bottom of the first.
In the third, Trey Thomas got the Senators on the board with an RBI single to left field.
Kobe Morgan followed and bunted to get on, before Dillon Damico drew a walk to bring in another run.
Thomas came home on a wild pitch to tie the regional elimination game at 3-3 in the top of the third.
Justin Nussbaumer, who was 4-for-4, singled in Jose Fausto in the fourth to give the Senators a 4-3 advantage before the Mustangs responded with four runs in the bottom half of the inning.
Nussbaumer drove in another run in the sixth and Carson was able to get runners on base in every subsequent inning after the fourth, but the Senators couldn't cut the gap any closer than 7-5.
The Senators end the year with an 8-10 record.
