Legislature hosting vaccination event for children Friday

The Nevada Legislature is hosting a special vaccination event on Friday for children ages 12 and older.
Legislative Counsel Director Brenda Erdoes said LCB is encouraging state employees and others to bring their children to the building on Friday between 12:30 and 3 p.m. The vaccinations are free.
After getting their shots, there will be a tour of the building beginning at 3 p.m.
Those interested are encouraged to schedule an appointment at https://telegov.egov.com/nv-pfizervaccine.
Anyone having difficulty can contact Risa Lang at rlang@lcb.state.nv.us or call 684-6834. Please provide the name and age of the child to be vaccinated.
Children and adults are welcome to come for vaccinations on any Monday, Wednesday or Friday at no cost. Currently the Moderna vaccine is available in the mornings and the Pfizer vaccine in the afternoons.
People can make an appointment at https://telegov.egov.com/nvleg-vaccine or just walk in.
