Sheer star power here in Fallon

Gunner is a handsome six-year-old Hound. He is strong, happy, and active. Gunner came to CAPS because he was a stray. He doesn’t try to get out of the yard, and he enjoys walking. Gunner is friendly, likes people, and rides well in the car. His smile just invites you to become his new BFF. Come out and take him for a walk; he’ll reward you with his friendship.

As Oct. 23, the day of our Murder Mystery Theater, draws closer, I would like to tantalize everyone with a lineup of our delightful characters. As always, our actors are community favorites who you can boo and cheer.
Diane Peters brings Anastasia Everdeen to life with her portrayal of a God-fearing woman who is obsessed with the cantaloupe festival. Is she the charming murderer?
Treveontay Moore will amuse you as Marvin Hollister with his spunky, sassy style. Is he spunky enough for murder?
Teresa Summers portrays Amber Addleson who is always the life of the party. Does she also choke life out of the party?
Chloe Mason aka Bethany Samuels is an artistic, social outcast generally above it all, but is she above murder?
Steve Fraker is Glen Beauchamp, and he is the town celebrity. He hides his shady disposition beneath terrible aftershave. Mostly he’s a womanizer who is arrogant, narcissistic, and self absorbed. Can he be the melon felon?
Rob McKinney characterizes Cory Annuals who is an undercover FBI agent. Cory is cool, calm, and collected. Will he solve this crime?
The Melon Felon is one production you will not want to miss! Our smorgasbord of characters will entertain, enlighten, and perhaps enrage. You will attempt to solve the crime using clues you glean from the play.
Another thing you will not want to miss is the delicious dinner. This year’s menu will feature:
Chicken Picotta or Pasta Primavera, tossed salad, green beans w/butter, broccoli w/cheese, and carrot cake.
Please join us on Saturday, Oct. 23 at the Fallon Convention Center for the social event of the season. The doors open at 5 p.m., and the show starts at 6 p.m. Dinner is served during intermission. There will be a cash bar serving wine, beer, and soda. Tickets are $50 or $275 for a table of six. Purchase tickets at Jeff’s Copy Express, Family Pet Connection, The Grid, and the CAPS shelter.
