The Nevada Day Parade and festivities returned to Carson City this Saturday, after being canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic. Alongside a three-hour procession of colorful floats idling down Carson Street, the celebration featured its annual hot air balloons, Chili Feed, Jack Drilling Contest, and Beard Contest, much to the delight of locals and visitors.

In the Single Jack Rock Drilling Contest: Emma Baker won the women's division at 6 4/32 depth.
On the men's side, Emmitt Hoy won by more than an inch.
