Road Report as of Thursday.
The following information applies to the period of Sept. 6-12:
Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
• Curry Street between 2nd Street and 5th Street will be closed, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for road construction. Pedestrian detours will also be in place. Please plan accordingly.
• Molly Street between Long Street and Carmine Street will be closed, Tuesday-Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for road construction. Please follow detour signs and plan accordingly.
• Northridge Drive between Table Rock Drive and Ridgecrest Drive will have single lane closures with flaggers, Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for construction of a concrete barrier rail. There will be intermittent closures at the intersections of Northridge Drive at Wilma Way and at Ridgecrest Drive. Please follow detour signs and plan accordingly.
• Rand Street between William Street and Long Street will be closed from Wednesday at 8 p.m. until Thursday at 6 a.m. for roadway reconstruction. Please follow detour signs and plan accordingly.
• Sophia Street between Curry Street and Nevada Street will be closed, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., for a water main extension project. Please follow detour signs and plan accordingly.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
• Long line and short line striping and painting will take place citywide, Sunday-Friday, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Please use caution and do not pass painting trucks. Also, please do not drive in wet paint.
• Curry Street between Ann Street and William Street will be reduced to a single lane, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-5 p.m., for a construction project. Please use caution and follow all roadwork signs.
• 5th Street between Fairview Drive and Hidden Meadow Drive will have intermittent lane closures with flaggers on Wednesday, 7 a.m.-5 p.m., for geotechnical work. Please use caution and follow all roadwork signs.
• Long Street between Roop Street and Rand Street will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction. Please expect delays and consider an alternate route.
• Northridge Drive between Eastridge Drive and Carriage Crest Drive will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Thursday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a roadway reconstruction project. There will be intermittent closures at the intersections of Northridge Drive and Carriage Crest Drive, Spooner Drive, and Eastridge Drive. Please use caution and follow marked detour routes.
Rand Street between William Street and Camille Drive will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction. Please expect delays and consider an alternate route.
• State Street at Long Street will be flagger controlled, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction. Please expect delays and consider an alternate route.
U.S. 50 between Asphalt Drive and Nichols Lane will be reduced to one or two lanes per direction, Saturday and Sunday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. for highway resurfacing. Please expect delays of up to 30 minutes and consider an alternate route.
