The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent unless convicted in court.
FRIDAY, SEPT. 17
• At 6:37 p.m., a 24-year-old woman was charged with domestic battery 1st after deputies were dispatched to an apartment on Rand Avenue. She is accused of punching her ex-boyfriend in a dispute over custody of their child. Bail was set at $3,000.
• At 7:45 p.m., a 44-year-old man was arrested for violating suspended sentence conditions after deputies were sent to Silver State Mobile Home Park for a report of a suspicious person. The caller told dispatch the man was looking in car windows and jiggling door handles. He denied attempting to get into any vehicle but said he looked in the window of one car because it was nice. But he had consumed alcohol in violation of his suspended sentence conditions so he was arrested. Bail was set at $1,000.
SATURDAY
• At 4:57 a.m., a 20-year-old woman was charged with DUI 2nd alcohol after a traffic stop on William Street for no license plate. She was also charged with violating bail conditions, no valid driver’s license and no proof of insurance. Bail was set at $6,200.
• At 7:21 p.m., a 35-year-old was charged with petit larceny after deputies were called to Walmart. He is accused of stealing underwear and socks. He was also charged with violating probation conditions. Bail was set at $3,250.
SUNDAY
• At 1:21 a.m., a 31-year-old man was charged with indecent conduct after a deputy spotted him urinating on the sidewalk at Carson and Sophia. Bail was set at $150.
TUESDAY
• At 11:14 a.m., a 64-year-old was charged with petit larceny after the clerk at the Extra Mile reported him stealing two Mike’s Hard Black Cherry drinks and a Red Bull. Bail was set at $250.
• At 12:55 p.m., a 27-year-old Dayton woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant charging violation of suspended sentence conditions after deputies went to investigate a suspicious vehicle on Brown Street. During the arrest, a blue glass meth pipe was found on her person. Bail was set at $4,000.
• At 10:48 p.m., a 38-year-old man was charged with violating a deferred sentencing condition prohibiting him from contacting his wife. He was charged with attempting to dissuade her from testifying against him in court. He was also charged with obstructing an officer and held on an outstanding warrant. Bail was set at $6,500.
