Rep. Mark Amodei of Nevada and 18 other Republicans in the House are calling for an investigation of reports Homeland Security is releasing illegal immigrants within the U.S. The signers are all members of the House Appropriations Committee. Amodei said Northern Nevadans are rightfully concerned about those reports and they want to know the long term impact of those actions. He said addressing those concerns is important to protect taxpayer dollars and keep families safe. He said the representatives expect a swift answer to their questions.
