The state environmental protection division is seeking public comment on whether to renew the Carson Tahoe Specialty Medical Center’s air quality permit.
The Bureau of Air Pollution Control has reviewed the application and made a preliminary determination to renew the permit. The review determined that the outpatient medical facility project will not cause or contribute to any violations of state or federal air quality standards.
Anyone wishing to comment on the plan should submit comments to Ashley Taylor at the Bureau of Air Pollution Control. The public comment period begins May 27 and ends June 27.
Detailed information on the proposal and draft air permit can be found at https://ndep.nv.gov/posts/category/public-notices/air.
