Best of Fallon nominations run Aug. 10 through Aug. 27

Nominations for the Lahontan Valley News’ annual Best of Fallon awards will be accepted from Aug. 10, through Aug. 27.

To nominate, go to BestofFallon.com and write in your favorites in the various categories.

People can nominate more than one business but can only nominate in each category once per day. Once the nominations are tallied, there is about a two-week window to vote for the finalists. We will let you know when voting takes place.

We have added a new category this year: “Best Historical Site”

We will only be taking the top nominated people and businesses into the voting finals — so nominations are as important as final voting.

Get nominating. The nomination period closes on Aug. 27.

After nominations, final voting will take place from Sept. 7-Sept. 24.
