Explore Africa at the next Rotary Club of Carson City meeting

If an adventure in Africa is on your travel bucket list you may want to consider attending the next Rotary Club of Carson City meeting. Rotary member Gary Ailes will share his experience on a photo safari with his fellow club members. The public is invited to attend.

Ailes and his family visited as part of a Cabela’s Experience. The outdoor retail giant plays an active role in wildlife conservation across that continent. “We were able to have up close experiences with buffalo, lions, elephants and rhinos,” he said. “It was truly amazing.”

A portion of the trip focused on gathering information and data for the Selati Game Reserve’s research projects. The organization sponsors numerous projects aimed at studying and conserving wildlife within the Reserve.
