Symphony Youth Chorus directed by Michelle Powers will sing for the holidays.
The Symphony Youth Chorus is open to children ages 4 to 12 and performs several times a year. Directed by Michelle Powers, the chorus will present holiday performances in Carson City this year.
Scheduled performances are Sunday at noon at the Greenhouse Garden Center; Dec. 1 at 6:30 p.m. (after the tree lighting), at the McFadden Plaza; Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. at the Carson City Library Digitorium; Dec. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Carson City Community Center; and Dec. 10 at 3 p.m. at Carson City Symphony's 40th annual holiday treat concert at the Carson City Community Center.
The Symphony Youth Chorus is supported in part by public funds through a grant from the Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts and by private donations.
