Over 40 employers will be participating in a job fair from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday in the large gym at the Carson City Community Center on 851 East William Street.
More than 40 employers will be participating in a job fair from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday in the large gym at the Carson City Community Center on 851 East William Street.
Veterans and disabled individuals will be able to enter early at 11 a.m. The event is sponsored by Carson City Health and Human Services and the Carson City Chamber of Commerce.
Employers in attendance represent the following industries: gaming, home health, manufacturing, retail, security, staffing agencies, utility companies and more.
“Job seekers should bring an updated résumé, dress to impress and be prepared to fill out applications,” reads a news release from Carson City.

Additional help can be found at DC Hire, a Northern Nevada Dream Center program. This program provides résumé assistance, interview clothing and work clothes and/or shoes after being hired.
