Carson City road report for April 22 to 28, 2024

Road report as of Thursday. The following applies to April 22-28:

Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:

2nd Street between Carson Street and Curry Street will be closed to westbound traffic through June 30, 2025 for construction.

5th Street between Curry Street and Carson Street will be closed to traffic on Tuesday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Follow detours.

5th Street between Carson Street and Stewart Street will be closed to traffic on Tuesday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Follow detours.

Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:

5th Street between Carson Street and Plaza Street will have narrow lanes on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Brown Street between Gordon Street and Reeves Street will have narrow lanes from Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Carson Street between 5th Street and Musser Street will have flagger control for trucks entering the northbound travel lanes from Wednesday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Use caution.

Carson Street between John Street and Park Street will have reduced northbound lanes from Tuesday -Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Little Lane between Roop Street and Saliman Road will be closed to eastbound traffic on Tuesday, 8 a.m. to noon.
