Good Samaritans find missing Carson City woman

A family of Good Samaritans in Carson City helped locate a missing elderly female Saturday night.

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office was searching for the missing woman near Skyline Estates in north Carson City.

The woman’s family made a social media post that sent the Richardson family to help search for the woman, the Carson City Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.

At 11 p.m. the Richardson family found the woman near a closed business. The woman was healthy and happy to be found.

“The Carson City Sheriff’s Office thanks the Richardson Family for their dedication to the community and locating the elderly female and ensuring she returned home safe,” CCSO said.
