The Carson Chamber Singers will present ‘A Night on Broadway’ concerts Oct. 18 and Oct. 26.
The Carson Chamber Singers, under the direction of Gary Schwartz, kicks off its 40th season with a pair of "A Night on Broadway" concerts on Oct. 18 and Oct. 26.
The concerts celebrate the history of Broadway and heritage of music from Tin Pan Alley to contemporary Broadway. Narrator is Rita Geil.
The Oct. 18 concert will be at 7 p.m. at Shepherd of the Sierra Lutheran Church, 3680 N. Highway 395 in Carson City. The event is free; donations are welcome.
The Oct. 26 concert will be at 4 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 200 N. Division St., in Carson City. General admission tickets are $18 each. Discount tickets for seniors (ages 62 and over), students, and members are $15. Youth ages 18 and under are free. Tickets are available online at www.CCSymphony.com and at the door.
Carson City Symphony Association concerts are supported in part by public funds through grants from the Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts, from Carson City, and by private donations.
