SB Builders LLC, a general contracting firm specializing in commercial projects in Northern Nevada, broke ground on a new dental practice building in north Carson City on Oct. 14.

The project site is 3455 GS Richards Boulevard.

“The 5,000-square-foot dental office will include three hygiene bays and three operatories, with future expansion plans for up to four additional operatories and one more hygiene bay. The project is expected to be completed by fall of 2025,” according to a news release.

The dental practice was designed by Berger Hannafin Architecture and will provide Carson City with “a modern, spacious facility to meet growing community needs,” the release said.

“Once completed, it will add to SB Builders’ already robust roster of distinguished buildings that serve critical roles in the region’s healthcare and public service sectors,” according to the release.

No additional information was released on the tenant of the dental practice. Earlier this year, SB Builders completed the new 30,000-square-foot facility for Carson Medical Group off Old Hot Springs Road.

“We are thrilled to break ground on this new project and continue our commitment to building high-quality, functional spaces that serve Northern Nevada communities,” said Patrick Beauchamp, co-owner and chief operations officer for SB Builders. “We take immense pride in delivering structures that not only meet the needs of today but can also grow and evolve with the community.”

Renovation (by different contractor) is also underway in the former Buffalo Wild Wings building in south Carson for an Aspen Dental office. That project is expected to be completed by early 2025.
