A 79-year-old Fallon resident died on July 21 in a crash on US 50 and Coleman Road. A gray 2022 Ram 2500 was traveling westbound on US 50 west of Coleman Road and a white 2016 Ford F-250 was traveling behind the gray Ram 2500.

Carson City man dies in Washoe Valley crash

A 19-year-old Carson City man died on June 25 in a crash U.S. 395A and William Brent Road, in Washoe Valley. The preliminary investigation indicates that 2019 Infiniti Q60S sedan was traveling southbound on 395A south of William Brent Road, according to the Nevada State Police. The Infiniti began to leave the right side of the road before the driver corrected, steering left. The Infiniti rotated counterclockwise across the northbound travel lanes, continued into the shoulder, and struck a tree. The passenger of the vehicle, Angel Cruzaley Mendez, died in the crash.
