The following people were taken into custody at the Carson City jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.


-- Curtis Lee Peterson, 34, of Carson City, a mechanic, was arrested at 10:08 p.m. Thursday in the 1800 block of Nichols Lane for investigation of attempted burglary, possession of burglary tools and possession of prescription drugs without a prescription. Bail was $25,000.


-- Alfred Albert Christian, 37, of Carson City, a painter, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the 2900 block of Highway 50 for investigation of third-offense domestic battery and parole violation. Bail was set at $10,000.


-- Lamont O. Williams, 32, of Carson City, unemployed, was arrested at 12:11 a.m. Friday at Desatoya Drive and Woodside Drive on a warrant out of Reno Justice Court for the investigation of failing to appear on driving-under-the-influence charges. Bail was set at $7,500.


-- A 46-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 2:40 p.m. Thursday at Carson and Fifth streets for the investigation of resisting a police officer and two counts of threats. Bail was set at $985.


-- A 31-year-old Carson City painter was arrested at 5:18 a.m. Friday in the 1800 block of North Edmonds Drive for the investigation of battery. Bail was set at $1,105.


Deputies responded to the following calls Thursday.


-- One fight report, ending in misdemeanor arrest.


-- One battery report, ending in misdemeanor arrest.


-- Two residential burglary reports.


-- One vehicle theft report.


-- Two hit-and-run reports.


-- One vehicle burglary report.


-- One theft report.


-- One accident-with-injury report.


-- One domestic battery report.
