The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 22-year-old commercial fisherman from Carson City was arrested at 10:49 p.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor destruction of property. He allegedly ripped a toilet from the wall in a business on Telegraph Street. Bail was set at $632.


• John Paul Drozek, 38, a manager from Carson City, was arrested at 5 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of David Street on suspicion of felony sex-offender failure to register. Bail was set at $2,000.


• Mathew Stearns, 27, of Carson City was arrested Wednesday in the 400 block of West Winnie Lane on suspicion of felony child abuse. He allegedly struck a child with a belt leaving bruises. Bail was set at $40,000.
