Gloria Jean Navarro, 62, a Vallejo, Calif., resident and former Carson City resident, died March 23, 2004, at home of cancer. She was born Sept. 17, 1941, in San Francisco to Julius Francis Sr. and Anna Mae Heider.
Mrs. Navarro was employed for 32 years by the U.S. government as a transportation specialist for the military, retiring in 1999. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of American Canyon, and she loved crafting.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Among her survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law Deborah Ann and Stephen Meza of Vallejo and Pamela Teresa and Daniel Rodriguez of San Bernardino, Calif.; son David Thomas of San Bernardino; son and daughter-in-law Mark Alan and Tamara of Paso Robles, Calif.; sister, JoAnn Granata of Rodeo, Calif.; brother, Julius Francis Heider Jr. of Australia; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Her ashes will be scattered by the family.
