The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 29-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 11 a.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of Roundhouse Lane on suspicion of domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


• Wesley James Morris, 31, a sheet-metal worker from Carson City, was arrested at 6:20 p.m. Sunday in the 4000 block of Quinn Drive on suspicion of gross misdemeanor child abuse/endangerment and misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $5,632.


• A 36-year-old carpenter from Carson City was arrested at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday on Leota Circle on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. $3,132.


• A 47-year-old mechanic from Carson City was arrested at 12:02 a.m. Monday in the 3400 block of Highway 50 East misdemeanor disturbing the peace. Bail was set at $632.




Deputies responded to the following calls:


• A rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle Sunday night in the 900 block of North Saliman Road.


• Items were stolen from a storage unit in the 1200 block of South Nevada Street sometime between Jan. 14 and Saturday.


• A bank customer making a deposit in the drop box at Nevada State Bank on Saturday at 9:55 p.m. found an envelope containing $2,315 in cash. He turned it over to police.
