A memorial service for Lois B. Littlefield, 87, a Carson City resident for the past 48 years, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Littlefield died Jan. 2, 2005, at home. She was born Oct. 24, 1917, in Elko to George and Bernice Brehe.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Elko.
Mrs. Littlefield was a bookkeeper for the secretary of state of Nevada. She enjoyed crocheting, needlework, gardening and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, in 1978; sons Erik in December 1993 and Dennis in December 1999; sister Etta Taber; and brother, L.E. Brehe.
Among her survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law Mark and Robin of Carson City and Jeff and Cyndy of Sparks; sisters Hazel Pohlabel of Reno and Georgia Blagen of Sacramento; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
