A funeral for Marie B. Reynolds, 80, a Carson City resident for the past 20 years, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Walton's.

Mrs. Reynolds died June 5, 2005, in Carson City. She was born May 2, 1925, in Dennistown, Maine, to Archelas and Melanie Barriault.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived at South Lake Tahoe.

Mrs. Reynolds worked for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft for many years, retiring in 1980. She was a foster mother for many years, both in California and Nevada. She was a Catholic and a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. She enjoyed bowling and bowled in leagues. She also enjoyed fishing and embroidery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter C. in 1993.

Among her survivors are her son, Ronald of Hawthorne, Calif.; daughters Patricia Asbill of Carson City, Roberta Burton of Indiana and Marlene Kamanski of Wisconsin; sister, Dorothy Richards of Vermont; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
