Frances F. McIntosh, 79, a Carson City resident for the past 12 years, died July 7, 2005, in Carson City. She was born April 19, 1926, in Reno, to Louis and Segunda Cistou Latasa.

She married Claude F. McIntosh in Reno.

A Reno native, she lived in Oklahoma and Fallon for a few years before returning to Carson City.

She attended Fallon High School and business college.

Mrs. McIntosh was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing and crafting.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Among her survivors are her husband; children John and wife Candy Butler, Bonnie Spence and Connie and husband Chuck Wilcox, all of Reno; stepchildren Allen and wife Diane McIntosh and Brenda McIntosh and companion Roger Bailey, all of Stockton, Calif.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A service will be at a later date.

Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
