Ernest M. Throne

A private family memorial will be held in Silver Springs for Ernest M. Throne, 72, a Carson City resident since 1997.

Mr. Throne died July 19, 2005, in Carson City. He was born Aug. 28, 1932, at Knights Ferry, Calif., to Ernest Simon and Martha Throne.

He previously lived in Modesto, Calif.

He worked as an auto body repairman in Modesto and Oakland, Calif.

Mr. Throne was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Betty of Oregon; daughter Cheryl Motley of Salem, Ore.; sons Maynard of Tracy, Calif., and Jack of Silver Springs; sister Twila Mitchell of Arizona; brother Leonard Throne of California; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
