Dayton soccer beats Yerington

The first place Dayton High girls soccer team kept its perfect record in tact in the Northern 3A with a 3-0 win over Yerington on Thursday.


Dayton improved to 6-0 in league. Ashley Winter scored in the first five minutes off of an assist from Natasha Olivera. Kaitlin Wutch also scored and Olivera assisted on Amy Gardner's goal to finish the scoring.


Goalies Stephanie Shoup and Sarah Langley combined to post the shutout. Shoup made two saves and Langley had three saves.
