A memorial service for William A. Muller, 80, a resident of the Carson Valley, will be 1 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Gardnerville.

Mr. Muller died April 10, 2006. He was born Sept. 7, 1925, in the Carson Valley.

He worked for several ranches driving cattle, and as a logger with Manke Logging. He worked for the town of Minden for 25 years.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was honorably discharged Sept. 31, 1945.

He enjoyed the mountains, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his granddaughters. After his retirement, he spent much time helping his brother on the family ranch.

Among his survivors are his wife Anneliese Muller; daughter Anita Ketchian; son Frank Muller; brother Walter Muller; and five granddaughters.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
