A memorial service for Dale Jacobsen, 52, a 25-year resident of Dayton, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mr. Jacobsen died Feb. 15, 2006, in a motorcycle accident in Reno. He was born Feb. 26, 1953, in Los Angeles, to Henry Jacobsen and Bettie Anna.
He married Kathy Jacobsen on Sept. 19, 1982, in Dayton.
Before moving to Dayton, he lived in Los Angeles.
He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and working on cars.
He also enjoyed spending time with his children and granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Daniel Jacobsen in 1998.
Among his survivors are his wife of Dayton; sons Jason S. Jacobsen of Los Angeles and Ryan M. Jacobsen of Dayton; daughter, Kristyn D. Jacobsen of Dayton; brothers Lee Jacobsen of Oregon, Ted Jacobsen of Dayton, Robert Jacobsen of Carson City and Grant Jacobsen of South Lake Tahoe; one granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
