Jack Dickason, 75, a Carson City resident, died April 17, 2006, at his home.

Mr. Dickason was born Aug. 21, 1930, in Kokoma, Ind., to Walter Dickason and Margaret Wallace Hollingsworth.

He worked in sales for A&P, Life Insurance, A. Rifkin Co.

He served in the U. S. Marine Corps from 1950-53.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He was preceded in death by sisters Shirley Dickason and Marjorie Wesner.

Among his survivors are his wife, Barbara Dickason; sister and brother-in-law Marilyn and Gene Shuck; daughters Laura Sopeth of Lakeville, Minn., Denise Broeker of St. Charles, Mo., and Brenda Wilson of St. Louis, Mo.; stepchildren Cheri Wessel of Dayton, Ken Pratt of Anchorage, Alaska, Kris Wells, Cameron Lewis, and Kelly Tranberg, all of Reno; 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews

Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
