Scouting SJSU: The Spartans are coming off a 6-0 win

over Cal-State Monterey Bay ... San Jose is a lot like

Hawai'i in the sense that its hitters will use the

entire field and don't have a lot of power ... Hall

has 16 stolen bases in 19 attempts, Pierson is 10 of

15 and Angel is 19 of 27 ... The Spartans have made 27

errors in 44 games.

Scouting Nevada: The Pack didn't play Tuesday because

of the death of freshman pitcher Steven Masten ... The

Pack took two of three from Utah Valley State, winning

the final two games of the series ... Bowman and

Scobee remain the only two hitters over .300. Bowman

is at .390 and Scobee is at .350 ... Scobee (35) and

Walsh (30) lead the team in RBI.
