Maria Finona Castro, 68, a one-year Mesquite, Texas, resident, died there July 22, 2006.
Mrs. Castro was born Aug. 6, 1937 in Piti, Guam, to Manuel Finona and Ines Santos.
She married Francisco Castro Nov. 5, 1959 in Agat, Guam.
She was a homemaker and a Navy spouse for 20 years.
Mrs. Castro enjoyed cooking, playing bingo and crossword puzzles.
Among her survivors are her husband; son, Michael Castro of Dayton; daughters Barbara Farrell of Oak Harbor, Wash., and Patricia Castro, Lorraine Howard, Eloise Guevara and Catherine Castro, all of Mesquite, Texas, and Virginia Herrera of Temecula, Calif.; 20 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, and other extended-family members.
Westminster Memorial Park Mortuary of California is in charge of arrangements.
