Douglas boys tennis falls to Spanish Springs

Robert Shawhan swept his singles matches, but it wasn't enough for the Douglas High boys tennis team. Shawhan won 6-2, 6-0, 6-0.

Also for Douglas in singles, Matthew McLaughlin won 6-4, 6-3. In doubles, Spike Neri and Andrew Soloman won 6-4 and Trevor Mitchell and Josh Vega won 7-5, 6-1. In two tough losses that helped make the difference, Steven Barnhill lost 4-6 in singles and Neri and Soloman lost 5-7 for Douglas.
