William Hardy Davis, 71, a six-year Carson City resident, died Nov. 23, 2006, at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Davis was born Jan. 9, 1935, in Oakland, Calif., to Lester and Katherine Davis.
He married Helen Davis in November 1975 in Fremont, Calif.
Before moving to Carson City, Mr. Davis lived in San Leandro, Calif.
He manufactured corrugated shipping containers for Georgia Pacific.
He was preceded in death by brothers Hampton, Leroy and Dickie Davis; and by sisters Nancy, Rena, Ethel and Katherine.
He enjoyed spending time with his pets Sarah and Oreo.
Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; daughters and sons-in-law Marki and Joe Patruzo of San Ramon, Calif., and Marisa and Jim Crowell of Murrieta, Calif.; children Bindy Davis of San Ramon, Jay Davis of Oakland, Debra Davis of Klamath Falls, Ore., and Chris Davis of Fremont, Calif.; seven grandchildren and numerous extended-family members.
Memorial services will be at a later date. Donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
